Really wonderfull writing, Bart , although I'd swear I heard something like "Lepiej zadzwoń do Barta i powiedz mu że się spóźnimy" rather than "Dubrovsnja sabrinski Bart, kop y retardski”. :D
Licentia poetica, I guess. ;)

Yes, I realize my fake Polish is a weak imitation of the real deal. My biggest concern was to not accidentally write something filthy.:D

Two notes about mushrooms:
Note 1: Part of the credits should go to Rico who grilled them for us.
Note 2: You should see the distrust and restraint on your faces when Ania brought them from the forest and especially when they were served.
They were delicious. I meant it when I wrote "best mushrooms I ever ate". Ever since, I've been walking through my garden with different eyes. But, no joke, this very day a radio cook said that mushroom collection is forbidden in Belgium, unless you have a special license. I looked it up, and he's not entirely correct. It's only forbidden in some areas to protect biodiversity.

Thanks:
As you know, from Ardennes we drove to France with a trunk full of Belgian beer (the aim was to savour it back at home while recalling the time spent with you). Instead we drunk it all in France and Ania insisted upon driving back home via Belgium just to replenish the reserve.
Not only had I to take a roundabout way, but now she refuses to drink Polish beer.
So, thank you guys for spoiling my girlfriend. :sneaky:

Glad we could have been of service.:D :D Please give your charming Ania my best regards.

Bart.
Then the light shone, trumpets sounded and I got to the other side, where men shave with smiles on their faces, razors pop hairs, and a continuous choir singing «~~Keen and Smooth~~» is heard everywhere. (Matt)

I don't know what grows in your garden and how experienced you are, so be careful. By all means beware of the death cap. It's deadly poisonous. It looks very similar to the parasol mushroom (expecially when young). Parasol mushroom is excellent off a grill and plenty of this kind Ania has found in the forest as well. But she didn't want to test your trust that much.

Upss. Sorry then. We didn't know. I hope the biosphere in Vielsalm area is doing well.

Regards passed on. Requested to give her regards to you.

:) Thanks Bart! Looks like all involved had a great time and made me want to visit Belgium. Food sounded especially good. Cheers Mike.

I only saw this post today.
ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING MAREK?
The Parasol is one of the best delicatessen I know of. Ania didn't tell me anything. If she had, boy be sure that I would have gone and picked them for a real barbecue!
Maybe next time ...

No problem, we can try next time if Bart checks that it doesn't upset the balance in Vielsalm's biosphere. :)
