hey all,
After numerous complaints about it being difficult to access the email contact forms(for emailing each other in stead of an internal pm system) we(the associates) have decided to take actions which results in the changes to the forum I made this morning.
From now on every member who is logged in should see under the avatar, name, etc. a link that says view profile. by simply clicking this link you can access the email functionality.
You don't have to worry about every stranger who comes on this site to be starting to send you spam, because this feature is only available to people who are a member here and who are logged in.
If there should be any complaints/questions/disfunctionalities about this pleas do not hesitate to contact me.
at you're service,
Stijn

The Bible and several other self help or enlightenment books cite the Seven Deadly Sins. They are: pride, greed, lust, envy, wrath, sloth, and gluttony. That pretty much covers everything that we do, that is sinful... or fun for that matter. - Dave Mustaine

Good stuff, Stijn. As long as you don't add a thanks button...

Great work, my friend.

Then the light shone, trumpets sounded and I got to the other side, where men shave with smiles on their faces, razors pop hairs, and a continuous choir singing «~~Keen and Smooth~~» is heard everywhere. (Matt)

Hi Stijn,
Good idea, looks like it will work well. But at the moment I get an "Access Denied" page when I click on someone's "view profile" link.
regards,
Torolf

Yeah, same here. Stijn, the link to user's profile omits the "www", I believe this is the problem.
cheers,

You need to log out an log in at http://www.coticule.be. (not at http://coticule.be)
The system generates a different cookie when you are logged in at the address without www, and will treat you as if you're not logged in at the www-address, hence no access to the e-mail service.
I don't think there's a quick fix. The official URL is www.coticule.be
Kind regards,
Bart.

Had that been done in private, I wouldn't have laughed as hard

I've fixed this. URLs will be rewritten (only for coticule.be, not the sandboxes).
