Don't worry. I've just activated your account manually.
But you should check your SPAM box and see if you have received e-mail from ArtisanShaving, just to make sure that other users can contact you.

Kind regards,
Bart.

Thanks Bart
It works.

But I have nothing in my SPAM Box. I remember having had the same problem sometimes ago with coticule.be.

Laurent.

I am going to send you an e-mail through the system of Artisanshaving. If you receive the e-mail, please send me a reply, so I know it works.

Best regards,
Bart.

Type the name of this forum, but replace "." with "dot". Do NOT use any spaces.:
This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.

I am, obviously?, a spambot since I cant figure this one out.
"wwwdotartisanshavingdotcom" does not work and I cant figure out any other name for that forum containing "dot"?

WTF? :D

Maybe Im not meant for that place?

Very sad to see this little corner of the interwebz go. Although I didnt contribute in the least, I did enjoy reading the banter of the usual suspects and I learnt a lot.
Thank you.

you should update the msgboard so that users can use characters that arent in the english language. like å, ä and ö, to just take the swedish examples, which actually work on this old, crappy forum (see my username) but does not work on the new forum at artisanshavingdotorg.

isnt it 2012 soon? and were still stuck with a to z in english on the internet? :)

apart from that, registering worked better after sleep. :P

i just dont want to be called "hakan" for the rest of my shaving-related lurking.

I just ran a small test, and it's actually quite possible to use special characters.

I already changed your username in Håkan, but you're still required to activate your account by clicking the link in the activation e-mail you should have received.

Kind regards,
Bart.

thanx for the help Bart.
unfortunately, clicking the registtration link gave a:
The requested user does not exist.

Since I was actually awake this time I figured the registration went through but some script went looking for the user "hakan", which no longer was there due to your renaming of it, so I logged in as "håkan" and everything is a-ok, up and working, logged in and ready to lurk...

Im guessing Ill still be coming to this place every now and then.
If for nothing else but the smell of discussions long gone, Emmanuels always kind and patient replys and, of course, that hideous semi-blue background...
