  1. I've noticed a problem, recently when someone posts a link www.link.com, the forum engine parses it to http://www.coticule.be/www.link.com which of course doesn't work. What's even more interesting, in my mail notification it showed as http://www.coticule.org/www.link.com instead of .be. Forum worked one way, notifier the other. Examples I've noticed: no1, no2 - okay, the 2nd one has been edited already, but it was the same thing. Strangely enough, if you hit 'Quote' next to the Ray's post, the link is copied back in its normal form. I wonder if my own links will work? Testing: http://morpheus.digart.pl/digarty - in case this works, you can see some random collection of my photographs, ones I liked enough to upload and show to a wider audience.
  2. A suggestion: would it be possible to tweak the engine so that when you select a part of the post and hit 'Quote', only the selection would be quoted? That would be really useful, IMO.

kind regards,
Matt

Thank you. Those are badasses, actually. It's a band in my hometown, look for 'Psychocukier' at YT.

BTW, if you click on the bigger-than-thumbnail photo that you pasted, you get the actual 100% image that is intended to be seen :) Then, when you hover over one or the other side of the pic, those arrows appear and you can browse all images at 100% instantly, have a nice watching - there are more shots of those guys you might like.

cheers,
Matt

The problem seems to only occur when "http://" is not included in a link.
Not something I can change with tweaking a setting, but most likely a small bug in the forum extension. I will file a bug report.

Your second suggestion indeed would be most useful, but unfortunately it's completely out of my league to implement such functionality in the software. If you know someone willing and able, let me know.

Thank you for bring it under our attention, Matt. If I'm correct with my assessment that it is a bug, I'm sure it will be corrected with the next update.

Kind regards,
Bart.

you can copy and paste in the reply and then put the quote tags around it
or you can hit quote and delete the sections you don't want to quote
The Bible and several other self help or enlightenment books cite the Seven Deadly Sins. They are: pride, greed, lust, envy, wrath, sloth, and gluttony. That pretty much covers everything that we do, that is sinful... or fun for that matter. - Dave Mustaine

Indeed. That is a good suggestion.

Another thing I do is to put
[/quote]
in front of
[quote=member]
. Then I select both tags and hit CTRL-C. On each place I want to put in a reply, I hit CTRL-V and type my reply between both tags.

Kind regards,
Bart.

Sure, sure I can, but this is more hassle, either typing in the name of the person you're quoting (in case of copy/paste) or deleting all the unnecessary parts. I have been using such a feature - supported in my IM (miranda) - and trust me, this is really handy. The section name says "Website announcements and suggestions", so I'm just suggesting something a little more user friendly.

Thanks for the smart tip, Bart.

Thanks for your attention.

kind regards,
Matt
