I read somewhere in the forums that there may be a new section to the site added on for photos of coticules. Is that still going to be something that would happen? I think it'd be a nice section to have for reference of layers for those of us who which to learn the differences as well as see Vintage coticule specimens. I know we have the vault section of the site to look at coticule layers for right now and it may seen redundant but I would like to see it happen.
Thanks!

Nick, a Coticule gallery is high on out to do list.
I had a chat with myself, this morning, not related to your request for a gallery, but nonetheless, I decided to seriously reduce my presence in the Cafeteria and start doing more work behind the scenes. The task list is bulking with unfinished ideas.
Kind regards,
Bart.

Then the light shone, trumpets sounded and I got to the other side, where men shave with smiles on their faces, razors pop hairs, and a continuous choir singing «~~Keen and Smooth~~» is heard everywhere. (Matt)

well I have an idea what's a bit related to this thread maybe you can make a sort of determination table(preferable with pictures) to determines coticule layers
The Bible and several other self help or enlightenment books cite the Seven Deadly Sins. They are: pride, greed, lust, envy, wrath, sloth, and gluttony. That pretty much covers everything that we do, that is sinful... or fun for that matter. - Dave Mustaine

The decision was not only fermented by that discussion, Dennis, however tiresome it may get at times. I certainly am done dealing with websites that prefer to support tendentious (mis)information in favor of information derived from contentiously (and very time-consuming) tests and trials.
But my main motivation for cutting back on my forum presence, is that almost everything else has come to a near stand-still.
We certainly can use better and more video content, we can use a guide that can allow you guys to do your own layer determinations, we should finish the translation work of the most basic articles in the sharpening academy, and not in the least, we do need to continue with all the research projects.
The goal of this website has never been to have a busy forum. Actually, having a busy forum, proves for some part that the provided information in the articles and faq-section leaves something to be desired. We need better tutorials.
In the mean time, we have enough capable members to help out newer members. You guys do an excellent job. My energy is better spent at other tasks.
That doesn't mean I'll be completely out of sight.

Thank you for your concern,
Bart.
