As part of our ongoing commitment, we have made a very slight, yet we feel very important, change to the rules of conduct here at

The Following lines insist on our members not using this forum to settle disputes

Feel free to review products and services, but don't use these forums to settle a dispute with a store, or any other organization or person, alive or dead.

Thank you

Where would it be appropriate to place reviews of products and services? The Marketplace Forum? The Miscellaneous Stuff Forum?

I would suggest a dedicated Review Section; however, I understand that would mean more work for the folks, who are busy enough as it is, that run this website.

Under the additional rules, would negative reviews be allowed? For instance, if a person received a poor product or service and wanted to alert others of their experiences, would it be alright for them to post? Situations like that can be quite "grey" from what I have seen on other forums, sometimes even causing disputes.

Thanks for any clarification.

The rules are deliberately kept short. They appeal on everyone's common sense and good intentions.

It's OK to review products. Reviews go in the appropriate sections. That would be mostly the "Razor's In", the "Razor Hospital" and the "Miscellaneous Stuff" section. It's not OK to plug products and neither is the opposite. A review discerns itself form that by an honest attempt to list positive and negative points in an objective manner.
A person that sells certain products is not supposed to "review" them.
The associates of, who also deal with moderating the forum, will deal with problematic reviews when they occur.

A review is not meant to vent frustrations about a product's poor performance, while in reality the writer couldn't care less about protecting others, but is merely after vengeance.
